Questions we hear
Do I have to file an insurance claim?
No. Whether to file is your decision. If you do, you deal with your insurer, and we can meet the adjuster at the house if you ask. Your deductible stays with you.
Will you file the claim for me?
No. We are not public adjusters, and we do not file or negotiate a claim for you. We inspect, photograph and write an itemized estimate that you can share with anyone.
Do I need to be home for the inspection?
Not for the roof. We call before we arrive and look from the yard and the roof, and sometimes with a drone. We only need you to open the attic, or to hear what we found.
Can I send photos of the roof first?
Yes. Text them to (303) 555-0102 with your address. Photos from the ground are enough to start. Please do not climb up to take them.
Who speaks Spanish?
The whole family does, and so do most of the crew. Tell us which language you prefer when you call, and the contract can be explained in either.
Why don't you list prices?
A roof's price comes from its own area, pitch, layers and condition, and a number from the web would be a guess. The written estimate gives the real one, item by item.
About storms and insurance
How soon should the roof be looked at after hail?
Hail damage is easy to miss from the ground. Policies differ on when a claim must be filed, so read yours or ask your insurer. We can inspect as soon as we can reach the house.
Can you cover my deductible, or give a discount in its place?
No. We do not pay, waive or absorb a deductible, and we will not offer to. It stays with you, and our written estimate shows the full price of the work.
What if the adjuster and your estimate disagree?
That conversation is between you and your insurer. We can walk the roof with the adjuster and show our photos if you ask, and we explain every line of our estimate.
Do I sign anything at the inspection?
No. The inspection gets you a written report. A contract comes later, in writing, and you can read it at home before you sign.
What is the 72-hour notice?
If your insurer denies the claim in writing, Colorado law gives you 72 hours to cancel a contract you signed for that claim. Our contract carries the state's notice. Read it, and ask us about any line.
Still have a question?
Call or text. We answer in English or Spanish.
